For example, if 4 inches stretches to 7 inches, it has 75% stretch. This is a common stretch factor necessary for tight-fitting garments such as swimsuits and leotards.

  1. Use Paper as a Stabilizer.

  2. Use the Right Needle. 

  3. Test Your Stitching.

  5. Pin Inside the Seam Allowance.

  7. Keep a Little Stretch.
